STAFFORD, TEXAS – (March 3, 1998) – Input/Output (NYSE: IO) announced today the appointment of two new vice presidents.
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer W. J. “Zeke” Zeringue said that Gay Stanley Mayeux will join the company as vice president and chief financial officer on March 23, 1998. Mayeux has more than 22 years of experience in finance and accounting, most recently as vice president and chief financial officer of Houston-based Hydril. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi and is a certified public accountant in the State of Texas.
Zeringue said that Robert P. Brindley, currently the company’s chief financial officer, would devote his time and effort to his other duties, including those as executive vice president of the company’s worldwide marketing operations. Brindley is also a director of the company.
Zeringue also announced that Tom Connolly would join the company as vice president of manufacturing on March 9, 1998. Connolly has more than 24 years of manufacturing and production experience, including positions as regional manager for Halliburton Energy Services and president of CRC Evans, a former division of Weatherford Enterra. Connolly earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Connolly replaces Senior Vice President G. Thomas Grisham, who is leaving the company to pursue other business opportunities. “Tom Grisham has made many important contributions to Input/Output during his long tenure with us,” said Zeringue. “He has our respect and best wishes in his new endeavors.”
Both Mayeux and Connolly will report to Zeringue.
