HOUSTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ — Input/Output, Inc. (NYSE: IO) today announced that it has elected Robert P. Peebler to its board of directors. The election took place at the board’s meeting on November 3 and became effective immediately.
Mr. Peebler is President and Chief Executive Officer of Landmark Graphics Corporation, a leading supplier of information technology for petroleum exploration and production. He has held a variety of executive positions at Landmark, including chief operating officer and president of the company’s seismic products division. Landmark is a wholly-owned business unit of Halliburton Company. Prior to joining Landmark, Mr. Peebler worked in the oilfield services industry for 18 years.
