STAFFORD, TEXAS – December 15, 1997. Input/Output, Inc., announced today that it has acquired Green Mountain Geophysics, Inc., of Boulder, Colorado. Green Mountain Geophysics is a leading developer of 3D seismic planning software.
Input/Output Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Charles E. Selecman said, “We believe that the acquisition of Green Mountain Geophysics and its seismic software products will add value to our I/O System Two® land seismic data acquisition system. We are incorporating Green Mountain Geophysics’ current 3D planning and data management software products into our product line so that our customers, both past and future, can benefit from this combination.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
