HOUSTON, Dec 10, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Input/Output Inc.
(NYSE:IO) announced today the appointment of three new senior leaders
to its management team. These team members — James Hollis, Chris
Cottam and Pamela Griffin — will lead I/O’s activities in Land
Imaging Systems, Global Sales and Corporate Marketing and
Communications, respectively. All are based in the company’s global
headquarters in Stafford, Texas.

Commenting on the appointments, Bob Peebler, President and CEO of

Jim Hollis, Vice President of the Land Imaging Systems Division,
is responsible for I/O’s portfolio of flagship seismic imaging
solutions for onshore applications, including the formerly separate
Pelton, TesCorp and Land Surface Systems business units. He is focused
on delivering an integrated product and service offering directly
aligned with the needs and expectations of I/O’s customer base. Jim
comes to I/O with broad oil and gas industry experience. Prior to
joining I/O, he was General Manager of Exploration and Development
Solutions for Landmark Graphics, a Halliburton subsidiary. During his
tenure at Landmark, Jim held various senior management positions in
product development, marketing and operations in locations ranging
from Denver to Kuala Lumpur. Jim holds a bachelor of science in
geophysics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a
master of science in geophysics from the University of Utah.

Chris Cottam, Director of Global Sales and Integrated Solutions,
is responsible for orchestrating I/O’s worldwide sales efforts, with a
special focus on the important emerging market areas of China, Russia,
the CIS and the Middle East. In addition, he will lead I/O’s efforts
to develop a common, enterprise-wide sales approach and to sell
complex, integrated solutions that cut across multiple I/O business
units to an increasingly diverse global customer base. Chris comes to
I/O with over 25 years of experience in the geoscience industry,
including 14 years in seismic acquisition, during which time he built
and led several successful corporations through complex start-up,
turnaround and high-growth cycles. Prior to joining I/O, Chris was a
Division President with Core Laboratories, where he was accountable
for worldwide operations in seismic processing, software, geoscience
and engineering consultancy. Chris holds an undergraduate degree in
geology from the University of Leicester.

Pam Griffin, Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications,
is responsible for spearheading I/O’s corporate branding, marketing
communications and strategic partnership programs. Additionally, Pam
will focus on coordinating the strategic marketing of the company’s
rapidly growing portfolio of integrated solutions, including the
fusion of I/O’s VectorSeis digital, full-wave acquisition and AZIM
anisotropic processing technologies. Pam comes to I/O with extensive
marketing experience in the E&P industry. Prior to joining I/O, she
held senior leadership positions at Landmark Graphics and Magic Earth,
both Halliburton subsidiaries, including serving as Market Development
Director for Landmark Services and as Director of Communications and
Marketing for Magic Earth. She was a member of the Magic Earth
executive team that founded the company in January 2000 and led its
sale to Halliburton in November 2001. Pam holds a bachelor of arts in
communications & journalism from the University of Houston and a
certificate in executive business management from Rice University.
