Retirement - 401(k)
ION recognizes that future financial security is important to our employees. Our 401(k) program, with matching contributions from ION, can help. ION employees are eligible to join the plan the first day of the month following the date of hire. ION also offers a 401(k) catch up for any employee turning 50 or more during the current plan year.
Vacations and Holidays
Eligible employees accrue vacation hours each pay period, based on years of service. Eligible U.S. employees receive 9 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday each year. As ION is a global organization, our paid holiday policy may vary by location.
Leave of Absence
ION provides eligible employees with sick days for absences from work due to illness. In addition, ION provides a variety of leave of absence programs to eligible employees including: bereavement leave, jury duty, military leave, voting, unpaid leaves, FMLA. Leave programs may vary by location.

New Hire Orientation
To help you jump-start your career at ION, we provide an online orientation program that provides new hires with information about ION, such as getting to know our leadership team, our strategic goals, and local office information. This on-boarding tool also allows new hires to complete necessary tasks online before their first day.
This is a two-day experience for new hires that presents a unique opportunity to meet the leadership team and to learn about our over-arching strategy, businesses, products, and also to become acquainted with other new ION employees from around the world.
One of the many benefits offered to employees is ION University, which is a web-based learning and development tool with over 1200 online professional and technical courses. The powerful web-hosted platform and database is used to assign, deliver, and track all training throughout the company, be it online or in the classroom. With a rich library of the latest online courses and resources available from a variety of course vendors, there is sure to be something for everyone. In addition, employees may be able to obtain CEU and CPE credit to apply towards their professional certification and licenses.

Internal Technology Forum
Created in the spirit of collaboration and innovation, the forum is designed to give employees from different fields and backgrounds the opportunity to share fresh perspectives and cross-fertilize ideas. Over the course of three days, participants share their journey together, hearing extraordinary speakers, engaging in constructive debates, and perhaps most importantly, developing new and stronger relationships with their colleagues throughout the organization.
Internal Leadership Summit
This summit is held exclusively for the top leaders in the organization who have been nominated by senior management to attend. Over the course of three days, participants gain insights from exceptional keynotes, business strategy working sessions, ION project case studies, and leadership development workshops.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
To encourage employees to continue their education throughout their careers, ION has an established Tuition Reimbursement Program. Under this program, eligible employees may enroll in educational and vocational courses and are reimbursed for their approved tuition expenses.
