MESA, the industry standard for 2D, 3D, 4D and full-wave acquisition design, allows users working with complex acquisition scenarios such as transition zone or mixed mode surveys to effectively plan, model and track the acquisition of even the most difficult surveys. MESA makes it easy to lay out source, receiver and bin patterns, and to “shoot” the survey and analyze acquisition attributes such as fold, offset and azimuth distribution. MESA Expert
The ultimate 3D survey design tool, incorporates all of the features of MESA Professional and adds geologic modeling and ray tracing to demonstrate how seismic energy behaves in the earth model. MESA Expert’s forward modeling provides answers to questions regarding illumination and multicomponent acquisition, improving the 3D/3C design process, facilitating more informed decision-making, and creating confidence in the optimization of the survey design for the subsurface objectives.
