Navigation Processing & QC system for Marine Streamer Operations
Sprint is a LINUX-based navigation data processing and QC system designed specifically for streamer-based seismic acquisition, including 2D, Hi-Res, 3D and 4D applications. The Sprint solution provides users with a high level of confidence in the final processed data set, which is available within a few hours of acquisition. Sprint can quickly make the best use of the available data, preventing unnecessary re-shoots and infill, reducing overall costs and ensuring the survey is completed in minimum time.
Sprint is available as a stand-alone product or can be incorporated with Concept Systems’ Spectra and Reflex, software products to provide a cost effective, scaleable, on-board data integration solution that incorporates survey planning, position quality control, navigation processing and binning.
Sprint is available for purchase or on a short-term rental basis. The software is available in 2D, 3D Hi-Res, 3D/4D and multi-vessel streamer configurations in which software costs are scaled according to the complexity of the configuration. The Sprint software installation remains unaltered from 2D to 3D configurations, enabling 2D vessel operators to upgrade to a 3D software configuration with minimal downtime and maximum cost effectiveness, even for short period rental operations. Sprint is designed to run on standard PC workstations.
Approved by most major oil companies and used fleet wide by the majority of leading seismic contractors, Sprint is currently installed on over 40 vessels. Seismic contractors have adopted Sprint as a full production navigation processing system, while oil & gas companies have found the system to be the most reliable and sophisticated quality control platform for offshore navigation data processing.
