Command & Control

All seismic surveys, regardless of complexity, benefit from command and control systems that streamline operations across the seismic workflow. ION Concept Systems' industry-leading command and control technology increases automation and productivity by integrating acquisition, positioning, source, and QC systems.

Instrument Control RoomOrca® is the next-generation command and control system for modern 2D, 3D, 4D, and wide-azimuth towed streamer surveys.  Built on the successful foundation of Spectra, Sprint, and Reflex, Orca delivers unprecedented acquisition efficiencies across the spectrum of seismic operations. Orca streamlines visibility and control to effectively execute challenging geometries and multi-vessel operations, while delivering simple, efficient processes for 2D and 3D acquisition.

To further enhance survey operations, Concept Systems is tightly integrating Orca with ION's marine acquisition systems.  Together, this advanced approach captures better seismic images more efficiently with reduced HSE risk.

Spectra® command and control, Sprint® navigation processing, and Reflex® spatial binning and attribute analysis set new standards for efficient towed streamer operations over the last two decades. It is still the most popular system in use today, but is gradually being replaced by Orca next-generation technology, which incorporates and strengthens their features.
