Integrated Navigation and Data Management System for Towed Streamer Operations
Spectra is a LINUX-based integrated navigation and survey control system designed specifically for towed streamer seismic operations, including 2D, 3D and 4D applications. Used alone or in combination with Concept Systems’ Sprint and Reflex products, Spectra provides users with a cost effective, scaleable on-board data integration system that incorporates position quality control, navigation processing and binning functionality.
Spectra has been tightly integrated with ION’s DigiCOURSE streamer positioning products to deliver the best 3D and 4D positioning solution available in the seismic marketplace.
Spectra is available for purchase or on a short-term rental basis. The software installation remains unaltered from 2D to 3D configurations, allowing vessel operators to upgrade to 3D with ease and maximum cost effectiveness even during short-term rental operations. The Spectra solution runs on hardware comprised of an expandable network of low cost PC workstations with a dedicated and scaleable real-time navigation sensor acquisition system.
Approved by all major oil & gas companies, Spectra is used fleet wide by the majority of leading seismic contractors and is currently installed on over 50 vessels where it supports 2D, 3D, hi-resolution 3D, time-lapse (4D), and multi-vessel configurations.
