VIBRATORS TAILORED TO THE ACQUISITION ENVIRONMENT
ION's AHV-IV buggy vibrators are recognized by geophysical service providers worldwide as the industry workhorse. Our newest offerings, the AHV-IV Commander and AHV-IV Renegade, were designed to enhance field operations and deliver increased energy output. The Commander (PLS 364) offers 60,000 lb peak force and is the result of several years of researched development aimed at delivering a more accurate weighted-sum estimate and reduced harmonic distortion. The Renegade (PLS 380) is our 80,000 lb peak force vibrator ideal for single source fleet configurations. ION's entire portfolio of AHV-IV vibrators are available in a variety of options and can easily accommodate tires or tracks to operate efficiently on any terrain.
The XVib is an articulated tracked vibrator that delivers the maneuverability and reduced environmental impact required for Arctic tundra and desert operations. XVib is available in 60,000 or 80,000 pounds of peak force capacity.
Pelton Source Controllers for Source-Driven Acquisitions
Pelton source controllers serve as the "intelligence" of the source network - whether the seismic energy source is dynamite or vibroseis. Vib Pro, ION's vibroseis source controller, allows for accurate and versatile vibrator sweep generation, relying on advanced digital control for reliable performance. Our recent enhancements to Vib Pro deliver significant harmonic distortion reduction (HDR) advantages for most servo-valve enabled vibroseis operations. Shot Pro II, ION's dynamite source controller, performs with high reliability while ensuring the maximum safety and efficiency of the field crew.
