GulfSPAN

The GulfSPAN onshore-to-offshore grid is a unique dataset. It provides an unprecedented view of the northern Gulf of Mexico Basin, with a consistently processed and interpreted dataset in depth so the true scale and geometric proportions are seen. On no other margin does the explorationist ‘see' the entire basin framework in this way. The main goal of this dataset is to allow E&P companies to fully appreciate the mega-size stratigraphic and structural elements that make up the northern Gulf of Mexico. Cumulatively and with the recent addition of FloridaSPAN, initial processing and interpretation by ION's GX Technology group reveals the most comprehensive look at the evolution of the Gulf of Mexico.

• Newly Reprocessed Data - Includes newly reimaged streamer/OBC PreSDM (RTM) data in offshore areas merged with existing, onshore reprocessed PreSDM seismic data

Newly acquired and processed, ties in with existing surveys in the Gulf of Mexico.
