The majority of the data libraries licensed by ION consist of ultra-deep 2D lines that oil & gas companies use to better evaluate the evolution of the petroleum system at the basin-level, including identifying source rocks, migration pathways, and play types. In many cases, the availability of geoscience data extends beyond seismic information to include magnetic, gravity, well log, and electromagnetic (EM) information, helping to paint the most comprehensive picture of the subsurface possible.
